Café on the Rosenhof, Hohn
Café - In the former cowshed you will find coffee and cake in a cozy atmosphere on your bike tour through the river landscape.
Let yourself be enchanted by the antiques in the café and be transported back in time. Enjoy "coffee to the full", tea, cakes, tarts and refreshing ice cream sundaes to the full.
Relax in the lovingly designed rooms of the Rosenhof or, if the weather is fine, find a seat on the terrace, from where you can even catch a glimpse of the stork's nest. The beautiful rose garden with 250 roses and the walk-in herb spiral with over 100 different herbs invite you to explore. There are always enchanted corners to discover throughout the estate.
Events and group visits are possible by arrangement.
After some refreshments, you can take the short walk to the "Hohner See" nature reserve, which is only around 1,000 meters away. Alternatively, a visit to the Rosenhof gallery is worthwhile - perhaps you will discover a work of art there that appeals to you. Or you can be inspired to create your own painting in one of the painting courses on offer.
From April to October, the Rosenhof also offers a quiet parking space for 5 mobile homes on an easily accessible lawn. Here you can also dispose of cassettes and use electricity and fresh water. The price is €10 per day.
There are shops, restaurants, a petrol station and gas supply in the village. There is also a bike rental service and many places of interest in the surrounding area.
